Thrill Trenton is friends, neighbors, and Trenton residents that will join together with thousands of other people across the globe on October 24th to set the Guinness Book of World's Records for the Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller! We will dance together with people from Ireland, Croatia, Sierra Leone, New Zealand, Warsaw, and Pittsburgh, to name but a few of the events registered for this year's Thriller World Record attempt. It's a great way to spread the joy of dance across the globe, and to share a great event and sense of accomplishment and fun with your friends and neighbors.
This event was created several years ago by Ines Marlekjevic, a Toronto dancer and choreographer who was inspired by the single mission to unite the world in dance. She could have picked the hokey-pokey, but why bother?
Ines has taught thousands of people across the world to learn Thriller and unite in dance through her website Thrilltheworld.com and her wildly popular You Tube instruction videos.
